About This Scholarship
The Athol Mann Award for Classical Voice supports students majoring in Classical Voice at the New Zealand School of Music, Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington, with a $3,000 annual award. The scholarship was established in 2018 through a generous bequest from Emeritus Professor Athol Mann to encourage excellence and contribution to the university’s musical community.
What This Scholarship Covers
- NZD $3,000 award (subject to funds available)
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be enrolled full-time at the New Zealand School of Music majoring in Classical Voice in the year following application
- 2 Students completing their year of study in Trimester 1 of the following year are eligible
- 3 Preference given to 300-level and Honours students, but all undergraduate and postgraduate students may apply
- 4 Must be a current student of the New Zealand School of Music
- 5 Open to both domestic and international students
