About This Scholarship
The AUB Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program offers full scholarships for African students to pursue online master’s degrees at the American University of Beirut beginning in Fall 2026-27. Selected scholars will join extra learning experiences and workshops under the Scholars Program and are selected based on academic merit, leadership potential, financial need, and commitment to community engagement.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Be a citizen of an African country
- 2 Be 35 years or younger
- 3 Have strong academic standing in previous degree
- 4 Demonstrate leadership potential and commitment to community engagement
- 5 Show financial need/talent that exceeds financial resources
- 6 Commit to attending additional workshops required by the Scholars Program
- 7 Demonstrate Readiness for University Studies in English (RUSE) by 30 June 2026 through TOEFL iBT, IELTS (Academic), GRE (Verbal), GMAT (Verbal), or Duolingo English Test (DET)
