About This Scholarship
The Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarships (AGRTPS) support international students undertaking a higher degree by research (PhD or Master of Arts by research) at Flinders University. The scholarship includes a living stipend, tuition fee offset, and overseas health care cover for up to 3.5 years of full-time study.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Annual stipend of $36,061 (tax-free)
- Research Training Program place with tuition fee offset for up to 4 years
- Overseas Health Care cover
- Establishment allowance up to $1,485 for relocation costs and airfares (with receipts)
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a citizen of any overseas country except New Zealand
- 2 Must not hold Australian citizenship, Australian permanent resident status, or New Zealand citizenship
- 3 Must intend to commence full-time study for a higher degree by research in Australia for the first time in the year of the award
- 4 Must intend to enrol in an area of research concentration where the University has particular strength
- 5 Must satisfy all entry requirements for a higher degree by research
- 6 Must meet minimum English language proficiency requirements with valid evidence through 31 March 2027
- 7 Must have secured agreement from an academic supervisor at Flinders University prior to application
