About This Scholarship
The Barbro Klein Fellowship Programme supports advanced research on cultural diversity in a global perspective, hosted at the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study in Sweden. The programme is open to scholars from humanities and social sciences disciplines who have held a PhD for at least three years and wish to conduct independent research in an international academic environment.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must hold a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree for at least three years at time of application
- 2 Must have a promising track record of independent achievements beyond the post-doctoral level
- 3 Must have significant publications and be active in international forums
- 4 Applicants from humanities and social sciences disciplines
- 5 Research focus on cultural diversity, cultural heritage, creativity, societal structures, public resistance, or cultural expressions
- 6 University position at time of application is not required
- 7 Programme especially encourages applications from talented younger scholars in non-Western countries and of underrepresented gender
