About This Scholarship
The Summer Undergraduate Research (SUR) Program at the University of Lausanne offers international undergraduate students an opportunity to conduct high-level research in biology and medicine. Over eight weeks, participants gain valuable laboratory experience and insights into advanced scientific research.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Living allowance to cover accommodation and general living expenses during the programme
- Travel allowance for return airfare to Switzerland
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree in biology, medicine, or a related discipline with a strong focus on biological sciences.
- 2 Must have completed two years of a bachelor's degree and be enrolled in their third year at the time of the programme.
- 3 Applicants engaged in studies in physical therapy, nursery, dentistry, or veterinary science are not considered.
- 4 Must demonstrate strong academic performance (typically GPA >3.75 or equivalent, and/or top 5% class ranking).
- 5 Must have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
- 6 Must be able to attend and be present for the entire duration of the programme.
