About This Scholarship
Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme funded by the FCDO and partner organisations, offering awards for outstanding international scholars to pursue one-year taught Master’s degrees at UK universities including the University of Kent. The University of Kent, a long-standing Chevening partner, offers three additional partner scholarships alongside standard Chevening awards, welcoming scholars from Chevening-eligible countries to study at its UK campuses.
What This Scholarship Covers

- Travel costs to and from the UK

- Travel grant to attend Chevening events in the UK
Who Can Apply
- 1 Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country
- 2 Have an undergraduate degree equivalent to an upper second-class (2:1) honours degree or higher, meeting entry requirements for a one-year postgraduate programme at Kent
- 3 Have at least two years of work experience
- 4 Apply to three different eligible UK university courses and secure an unconditional offer from one by 9 July 2027
- 5 Commit to returning to country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after the scholarship ends
- 6 Be based in the UK during the scholarship
