About This Scholarship
The Chinese Government Scholarship is a fully funded programme available for undergraduate, master’s, and PhD studies at more than 290 Chinese universities across all fields. The scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, basic health insurance, and a monthly allowance, and is designed to promote educational, cultural, and political exchanges between China and other countries.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Registration fees
- Accommodation in university residence (shared room)
- Basic medical insurance
- Monthly allowance for personal expenses (2,500-3,500 Yuan per month for Type A; Type B excludes monthly allowance; Type C is partial)
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must not be a Chinese citizen
- 2 Must not hold another scholarship issued by the Chinese government or its delegations
- 3 Undergraduate applicants must not exceed 25 years of age
- 4 Master's degree applicants must not exceed 35 years of age
- 5 PhD applicants must not exceed 40 years of age
- 6 Undergraduate applicants must hold a Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent
- 7 Master's degree applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree
- 8 PhD applicants must hold a Master's Degree
