About This Scholarship
The Colombia Government Scholarship 2026 is a fully funded postgraduate scholarship program for international students to pursue Master’s degrees at top Colombian universities. The scholarship covers tuition fees, health insurance, living expenses, visa, monthly stipend, and provides Spanish language support for non-native speakers.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Full tuition fee coverage
- Health policy/medical insurance
- Courtesy visa from Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Living expenses/monthly support
- Installation expenses in Colombia
- Foreigner Identification Card
- One-time grant of COP 250,000 for foreigner identification card issuance
- Spanish language support
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must not be a national of Colombia
- 2 Must not have lived or been present in Colombia in the last six months before applying
- 3 Must not have any marital relationship in Colombia
- 4 Must be under 50 years of age
- 5 Must hold an undergraduate, equivalent or professional degree
- 6 Must have a cumulative general average in undergraduate of 4.0 out of 5.0
- 7 Must not have previously been a beneficiary of ICETEX through the Beca Colombia program
- 8 Must provide Certificate of Migratory Movements after selection
