About This Scholarship

The Constructor PhD Scholarship is a fully funded doctoral research programme at Constructor University Bremen focusing on cutting-edge developments in multimodal data fusion, edge computing, wearable intelligence, biomedical data analytics, and privacy-preserving AI systems. Doctoral candidates will develop real-time, GDPR-compliant personalization frameworks and knowledge-grounded digital avatars under the supervision of Dr. Sari Sadiya’s research group, with hands-on exposure to applied AI research and access to industrial testbeds.

What This Scholarship Covers

  • Monthly living stipend of €1,650
  • Research cost allowance of €100 per month
  • Health insurance subsidy of €100 per month
  • Optional mini-job allowance up to €603 per month for parallel part-time employment
  • Access to industrial testbeds and specialized coursework

Who Can Apply

  • 1 Must hold a Master of Science (MSc) or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cognitive Science, or a related computational discipline
  • 2 Must demonstrate proficiency in Machine Learning, Signal Processing, or Edge Computing
  • 3 Must have practical experience working with wearable or multimodal time-series data (e.g., EEG, biosensors, heart rate, GPS)
  • 4 Must possess strong written and spoken academic English proficiency
