About This Scholarship
The Czech Government offers scholarships for citizens of developing countries to pursue Master’s and Doctoral degree programmes at public higher education institutions in the Czech Republic. Scholarships cover the standard length of full-time study with options for Czech language preparatory courses or English-medium programmes.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a citizen of one of the eligible developing countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus (democratic forces), Ethiopia, Gabon, Mauritania, Zambia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Palestine, Guatemala, or Honduras
- 2 Must not be a citizen of the Czech Republic, European Union, or hold permanent residence in Czech Republic
- 3 For Master's programmes: must have completed a bachelor's degree programme
- 4 For Doctoral programmes: must have completed a master's degree programme
- 5 For English-medium studies: must demonstrate sufficient English language proficiency through an online entrance English language test
- 6 Each applicant can only register once and submit one application
