About This Scholarship
The DDC x TrygFonden Fellowship Program invites researchers, journalists, and policymakers to collaborate with mentors at the Digital Democracy Centre to explore the impact of digital technology and AI on media, politics, and democracy. Selected fellows will generate new knowledge, contribute to public debate, develop networks, and produce tangible outputs such as policy briefs, educational packages, and talks.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Travel expenses (flights, trains, conference hotels, fieldwork, project meetings)
- Accommodation in Odense (hotel or short-term rental for stays shorter than one month)
- Subsistence support (meals and living expenses during fellowship stays)
- Stipend (minor salary compensation up to approximately one to two months depending on fellowship length)
- Research costs (surveys, transcription, data access, software, participant compensation, student assistance)
- Event and outreach costs (workshops, seminars, talks, communication materials, speaker travel)
- Equipment (necessary project equipment subject to university procurement rules)
