About This Scholarship
The Earth University Mastercard Scholarship provides full sponsorship for undergraduate education to young leaders from Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. Scholars receive holistic support including tuition, accommodation, living expenses, and leadership development to drive socioeconomic development in their home regions.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Tuition and functional fees
- Laptops, books, and other learning materials
- Reasonable accommodation and meals
- Medical insurance
- Stipend
- Transport to and from home
- Access to leadership training
- Access to entrepreneurial training
- Psycho-social support, career counseling, and mentorship
- Disability needs will be reasonably catered for
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a resident and a graduating high school student of a country within Sub-Saharan Africa or Latin America.
- 2 Must demonstrate financial need correspondent to that of the lowest two quintiles of your country.
- 3 Must have very strong academic results within your school system.
- 4 Must have a record of leadership and extracurricular involvement.
- 5 Must maintain a strong desire to return to Africa to assist and work towards enhanced regional socioeconomic development.
- 6 Must be graduating from a recognized secondary school, or have completed the necessary academic requirements.
- 7 Must fulfill the necessary English requirements dependent on country.
