About This Scholarship

The ECOWAS Regional Business Incubation Programme is designed to identify and support young entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas through a structured incubation programme that helps transform ideas into viable and sustainable businesses. Selected participants receive entrepreneurship training, mentoring, business model development support, and may be awarded grants for the best projects in each participating country.

Who Can Apply

  • 1 Must be between 18 and 35 years old
  • 2 Must be a national or resident of one of the ECOWAS member countries listed: Benin, Côte d'Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, or Sierra Leone
  • 3 Must have an innovative business idea, concept, prototype, or project in the pre-launch stage
  • 4 Project must fall within one of the priority sectors: Pharmaceutical industry, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Solar and renewable energy, or Agri-silvo-pastoral activities and agricultural value chains
