About This Scholarship
The FAO headquarters Internship Programme provides talented young individuals with an opportunity to supplement their academic knowledge with a practical work assignment. Interns contribute to FAO’s strategic framework and global efforts to achieve food security and sustainable agri-food systems.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Monthly stipend provided by FAO (where applicable/applicable UN internship conditions apply)
- Practical work experience in an international multicultural environment
Who Can Apply
- 1 Enrolled in an under-graduate or graduate degree programme in a bona fide educational institution at the time of application, or be a recent graduate.
- 2 Must specialize in a field relevant to the mission and work of FAO.
- 3 Working knowledge of at least one FAO language (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian or Spanish).
- 4 Must be nationals of FAO Members.
- 5 Candidates should be aged between 21 and 30.
