About This Scholarship
The JSPS Invitational Fellowships for Research in Japan support outstanding overseas researchers to conduct collaborative research with Japanese colleagues at universities and research institutions. The programme offers two categories: Long-term Invitational Fellowship (2-10 months) and Short-term Invitational Fellowship (14-60 days).
What This Scholarship Covers
- All research-related costs covered during fellowship period
- Accommodation expenses
- Travel allowance
- Health insurance
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be an excellent overseas researcher with excellent records of research achievements
- 2 Must be nominated by a Japanese host institution (individual overseas researchers cannot apply directly)
- 3 Must be willing to conduct collaborative research with Japanese colleagues
- 4 All fields of humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences are eligible
