About This Scholarship
The Government of Slovakia Scholarships for Talented Students provide opportunities for international students from all over the world to pursue full-time Bachelor’s or Master’s degree studies in Slovakia. The scholarship offers up to €15,000 in funding along with monthly stipends and tuition fee waivers at selected higher education institutions.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Scholarship grant up to €15,000
- €500 per month stipend for 10 months each academic year
- Tuition fee waiver at selected Slovak public HEIs
- Health insurance under Slovak law
- Visa and residence procedure support
Who Can Apply
- 1 Be an international student from any country
- 2 Have no permanent or temporary residence in Slovakia since January 1, 2020 (exceptions apply)
- 3 Must not have studied at a Slovak higher education institution or secondary school (exceptions for Erasmus+ participants or Slovaks abroad)
- 4 Have completed secondary education (for bachelor's degree) or hold a bachelor's degree (for master's degree)
- 5 Apply to a full-time, in-person programme at a Slovak public higher education institution
- 6 Provide SAT score of at least 1100
- 7 No age limit (those under 18 require guardian consent)
