About This Scholarship

The Hebei Provincial Government Scholarship awards funding to international students pursuing undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degree programs at colleges and universities in Hebei Province. The scholarship covers tuition fees with annual stipends ranging from ¥5,000 for undergraduates to ¥20,000 for doctoral students.

Who Can Apply

  • 1 Must be a non-Chinese national
  • 2 Must be in good physical and mental condition with good academic and behavioral performance
  • 3 For undergraduates: Must have high school diploma and HSK Level 4 with minimum score of 180
  • 4 For master's students: Must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent and HSK Level 5 with minimum score of 180
  • 5 For doctoral students: Must hold a master's degree and HSK Level 5 with minimum score of 180 or IELTS with minimum score of 6.0

Submit recommendation letters (two reference letters from professors/associate professors required for master's and doctoral applicants)

For music applicants: submit CD of own work; for fine arts applicants: submit DVD with two sketches, two color paintings and two other works

Applicants under 18 must provide guarantee letters signed by legal guardians in China

All documents in languages other than Chinese or English must include notarized translations
