About This Scholarship
The IIE Scholar Rescue Fund Fellowship provides critical support to scholars, researchers, and academics facing threats, persecution, conflict, violence, or other circumstances that prevent them from safely continuing their academic work in their home countries. The fellowship enables qualified academics to continue their research, teaching, publishing, and other scholarly activities at host institutions in safe locations worldwide.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a scholar, researcher, or academic whose academic career and personal safety are at risk
- 2 Must be unable to continue academic work due to threats, violence, political instability, armed conflict, persecution, or other dangerous circumstances in home country
- 3 Must have demonstrated academic background with publications and research experience
- 4 Must be able to secure or identify a host institution willing to host the fellowship
