About This Scholarship
The IACC Young Journalists Programme invites early-career journalists passionate about fighting corruption to cover the International Anti-Corruption Conference in Punta Cana from 1-4 December 2026. Participants will engage in conference discussions, conduct interviews with leaders and activists, and develop their knowledge of anti-corruption trends as part of a mentored programme.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Economy return flight to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
- 5 nights' accommodation
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner at conference hotel (30 November - 5 December 2026)
- Visa processing cost reimbursement (agreed in advance, upon receipt submission)
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be currently working as a journalist with demonstrable experience reporting on social, political or economic issues
- 2 Must be under 35 years old on 6 December 2026
- 3 Must be proficient in English
- 4 Must be passionate about fighting corruption and committed to learning more about Transparency International and its work
- 5 Journalists from digital, print, broadcast or multimedia backgrounds are welcome to apply
