About This Scholarship
The Islamic Development Bank Scholarship provides fully funded programs at member countries’ universities for undergraduate, master’s, PhD, and postdoctoral studies with a focus on sustainability science and Sustainable Development Goals. The scholarship covers tuition fees, monthly stipends, medical support, travel allowances, and mentorship programs to support academic and social integration.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a citizen of an IsDB member country
- 2 Must be proficient in English
- 3 For Undergraduate: Complete senior secondary education (approximately 12 years) with good grades in major subjects, not in receipt of any other scholarship, medically fit and willing to undergo medical tests
- 4 For Master's: Have minimum "Very Good" academic standing, preferably have work and research experience, have a research proposal in one of the approved fields stating scientific and developmental relevance, be medically fit and willing to undergo medical tests
- 5 For PhD: Have a master's degree in one of the approved fields, minimum "Very Good" academic standing, preferably have work and research experience, have a research proposal stating scientific and developmental relevance, be medically fit and willing to undergo medical tests
- 6 For Post-doctoral Research: Have a PhD degree in an approved field, minimum "Very Good" academic standing, at least two years of research experience, mandatory record of publications or research in the field, have a research proposal, be medically fit and willing to undergo medical tests
- 7 For Vocational Education Training (VET): Be a citizen of one of the 21 IsDB LDMC countries, completed high school with minimum good grades, not in receipt of any other scholarship, be medically fit and willing to undergo medical tests
- 8 Must sign IsDB's prescribed Scholarship Agreement
- 9 Must devote themselves to full-time study without interruption and provide regular progress reports
- 10 Must not seek or accept other scholarship or remunerated work during study
- 11 Must respect the laws of the country of study and maintain good personal and professional conduct
- 12 Must register with IsDB Alumni after graduation
