About This Scholarship

The KAIST Scholarship 2027 is a fully funded scholarship programme for international students pursuing Master’s and Doctoral degrees at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), one of Asia’s leading science and engineering universities. The scholarship covers all major expenses including tuition, stipends, airfare, health insurance, and research support, eliminating financial barriers to postgraduate education in South Korea.

What This Scholarship Covers

  • Round-trip international airfare (economy class)
  • Resettlement grant (one-time allowance)
  • Monthly stipend (amount varies by programme and college; KGPS: 1,000,000 KRW for Master's programs; KPS: 300,000 KRW for PhD programs)

Who Can Apply

  • 1 Must be an international applicant
  • 2 Must be applying for a KAIST graduate programme (Master's or PhD)

  • 4 English proficiency acceptable via institutional letter (IELTS/TOEFL not required)
