About This Scholarship
KAUST offers fully funded scholarships for international students pursuing Master’s and PhD degrees in science, engineering, and technology fields. The scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, living stipend, and medical coverage for the 2027-28 academic year.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Full tuition fee
- Registration fee
- Free accommodation (housing)
- Living stipend ($20,000-30,000 annually depending on qualifications and progression)

Who Can Apply
- 1 Open to all nationalities
- 2 Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree to apply for Master's programs
- 3 Applicants must hold a Master's degree to apply for Doctoral programs
- 4 Must be in excellent academic standing with good conduct
- 5 Must be physically and mentally healthy
- 6 May not hold any other scholarship simultaneously
- 7 Minimum TOEFL score of 79 (IBT) or IELTS score of 6.5 (or exemption if degree from accredited US/Canadian institution)
