About This Scholarship
Laurentian University offers one of Canada’s most generous international scholarship programs recognizing academic excellence among incoming undergraduate and graduate students. Scholarships are awarded automatically based on admission average and can total up to $60,000 for undergraduates or provide assistantships and travel grants for graduate students.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Tuition fee reduction
- Up to $60,000 for undergraduates
- Graduate Teaching Assistantship funding
- Travel grants ($600 for Masters, $1,200 for PhD)
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be classified as an international student paying overseas tuition fees
- 2 For undergraduates: must be enrolled in a first undergraduate degree program (students with prior degrees are not eligible)
- 3 Must maintain full-time study (minimum 30 credits per academic year, with 24 credits in Fall/Winter term)
- 4 For renewal: must maintain minimum 80% GPA (7.5) or 90% GPA (9.5) depending on award level
- 5 For Graduate Teaching Assistantship: must be registered full-time with minimum B+ average (75%)
