About This Scholarship
The Loughborough Development Trust Africa Scholarship covers 100% of postgraduate taught course fees for one year for international students from Africa. Students must demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and commitment to returning to their home country to make a significant contribution.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Full tuition fees for one year of postgraduate taught course
Who Can Apply
- 1 Currently domiciled (permanently living) in Africa
- 2 Holding a conditional or unconditional offer for a postgraduate taught course at Loughborough University
- 3 Evidence of exceptional academic achievement (normally a first-class honours degree)
- 4 Commitment to return to home country on completion of postgraduate programme
- 5 Evidence of ability and commitment to making a significant contribution to home country on return
- 6 Full understanding of the costs involved in coming to study and live in the UK
- 7 Evidence of strong motivation and initiative to secure funds to cover travel, living and maintenance costs
- 8 Evidence of maintenance funds
