About This Scholarship

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Pan-Atlantic University provides full scholarships to exceptional young Africans facing financial or socio-economic barriers, with priority given to young women, refugees, displaced youths, and persons with disabilities. The program aims to develop ethical, service-driven leaders who will transform their communities and the African continent through world-class education and leadership development.

Who Can Apply

  • 1 Must demonstrate academic excellence and leadership potential
  • 2 Must demonstrate financial need
  • 3 Must have passed WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB with 5 credits (including English and Mathematics and three other relevant subjects in Arts, Sciences, or Social Sciences) in not more than two sittings
  • 4 Must have a minimum UTME score of 220 (Required UTME subjects: English Language and any three Social Science, Arts, or Science subjects)
  • 5 Priority consideration given to young women interested in STEM programmes, internally displaced young people, and young people living with disabilities

How to Apply

Meet the academic requirements (minimum 5 O'Level credits including Mathematics and English in not more than two sittings)

Complete the Application Interest Form if UTME result is not yet available

Write the JAMB UTME examination and achieve minimum score of 220

Complete the online application form with personal, academic, and background information along with required documentation

Undergo screening and shortlisting for interviews (conducted in-person or virtually)

Receive admission notification and formal scholarship award offer
