Who Can Apply
- 1 Open to academically talented but economically disadvantaged young people, primarily from Africa (including refugees and forcibly displaced youth). 2. Age when applying: 29 or under for undergraduate (Bachelor's); 35 or under for graduate (Master's) study. 3. Demonstrated leadership and commitment to giving back to their community; financial need. 4. Special focus on young women, persons with disabilities, and displaced populations. 5. Apply directly through a Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program partner institution (each sets its own specific criteria).
