About This Scholarship
MTN Foundation Scholarships Program is an annual award recognizing and rewarding eligible high-performing students in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions across three categories: Science and Technology Scholarship, Scholarship for Blind Students, and Top 10 UTME Scholarship. The 2026 edition awards 400 Science and Technology students and 100 blind students with scholarships worth N300,000 each until graduation.
What This Scholarship Covers
- N300,000.00 per year until graduation
- Continuation upon meeting grade and upskilling requirements
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a Nigerian student
- 2 Must be enrolled in a Nigerian Public Tertiary Institution (Universities, Teaching Hospitals, Polytechnics, or Colleges of Education)
- 3 For MTN Science and Technology Scholarship: must be a 300 level student studying Science & Technology-related courses, or a 400 level medical student
- 4 For MTN Scholarship for Blind Students: must be a 200 or 300 level blind student studying any course (300 level only for Law students)
- 5 Must have completed second semester 200 level examinations or be currently in applicable level
- 6 For STEM students in public universities and colleges of education: minimum CGPA of 3.0/4 or 3.5/5 (second class upper credit)
- 7 For STEM students in public polytechnics: meets minimum cumulative grade requirements
