About This Scholarship
The National Fellowship Program supports outstanding scholars completing dissertations in U.S. politics, public policy, and foreign relations. Fellows receive generous financial support, mentorship, and opportunities to build collaborative research networks.
What This Scholarship Covers
- $30,000 stipend in the first year ($30,000 should they qualify for a second year)
- Up to $5,000 in research funds
- Budget allocated for network events and activities
- Mentorship from a renowned senior scholar
- Training in leadership skills for academic research and policy-making
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a Ph.D. candidate who anticipates completing their dissertation by the end of the Fellowship year or has developed a comprehensive and viable two-year write-up plan substantiated with compelling documentation.
- 2 Open to applicants regardless of U.S. citizenship.
- 3 Not intended for post-doctoral candidates.
