The National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University Scholarship is a fully funded opportunity for international students to pursue undergraduate, master’s, or PhD programmes at Taiwan’s leading public research university. The scholarship covers monthly stipends and tuition support, with funding provided by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Monthly stipend (amount determined by scholarship committee)
- Full tuition and credit fee waiver OR reduced tuition at local student rate (committee decides level)
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a citizen of any country
- 2 Must demonstrate English language proficiency
- 3 For master's degree: must hold a bachelor's degree with transcript (16 years of education) at time of application
- 4 For PhD degree: must hold a master's degree with transcript (18 years of education) at time of application
- 5 Must have an outstanding academic record
- 6 Must demonstrate a strong interest in studying/research in Taiwan
- 7 Preference given to applicants with extracurricular achievements, community engagement, social responsibility, and leadership skills
