About This Scholarship

The Oxford-Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme provides fully-funded graduate scholarships for outstanding students from developing and emerging economies, covering 100% of tuition fees plus a living stipend of at least £20,780 per year. The programme includes comprehensive leadership development, philosophical discussions, business skills training, mentoring, and networking opportunities.

Who Can Apply

  • 1 Must be applying for a new full-time graduate course at Oxford
  • 2 Must intend to return to their country of residence after completing the course
  • 3 Must demonstrate a clear link between field of study and long-term career goals showing how their work will improve public life
  • 4 Must be ordinarily resident in one of the eligible developing and emerging economies
  • 5 Must not hold deferred offers or already be a current Oxford student (unless already a Weidenfeld-Hoffmann scholar)

How to Apply

Apply for a graduate degree at Oxford

Select the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme in the scholarship section of the application form

Upload the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarship Statement with your graduate application

Submit all required documents including graduate course application form, academic transcripts, CV, and references

Submit by the relevant December 2026 or January 2027 deadline for your specific course (23:59 GMT)

Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed in April 2027
