About This Scholarship
The University of Vechta offers up to three fully funded PhD scholarships under its doctoral college focusing on justice dimensions of sustainability-oriented transformation processes in rural areas, affiliated with the Vechta Institute of Sustainability Transformation in Rural Areas (VISTRA). Successful scholarship holders will receive €1,650 per month for up to three years, with possible additional support for health insurance and family allowances, while conducting interdisciplinary research on how sustainability transformations affect different groups and communities.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Applicants must have a Master's degree or equivalent qualification

- 3 Applicants from relevant academic disciplines including human geography, social sciences, applied ethics, economics, sustainability science, psychology, political science, environmental studies, or related interdisciplinary fields
- 4 Both qualitative and quantitative research approaches welcome
