About This Scholarship
The Swedish Defence University offers several fully funded PhD positions in War Studies for a four-year doctoral programme beginning January 2027, with specialisations available in Russian Warfare, Gender and Peace and Security, and Military Logistics. Successful candidates will be employed as doctoral students with full funding throughout their studies, with the possibility to extend to five years if undertaking teaching or departmental duties.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must hold a Master's degree or equivalent qualification
- 2 Must have at least 240 ECTS credits from previous studies
