About This Scholarship
The Science@Leuven Scholarship provides fully funded support for international students pursuing master’s degrees at the Faculty of Science at KU Leuven, offering up to 12,000 euros to cover tuition fees, insurance, health coverage, and living expenses. The scholarship is available for a range of master’s programmes and is designed for motivated and talented students who demonstrate excellent academic results and strong motivation to study at KU Leuven.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Tuition fee for one year
- Basic health insurance coverage
- Insurance
- Living expenses (amount varies, up to 12,000 euros total per year)
- Scholarship continuation for second year if outstanding results achieved in first year
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be an international student who has not previously studied or worked at the University of Leuven
- 2 Must hold a bachelor's degree from a foreign university that provides access to the master's programme being applied for
- 3 Must not have already acquired a master's degree or PhD
- 4 Must demonstrate excellent study results from previous training (high grades or academic honors)
- 5 Must demonstrate strong motivation to follow a master's programme at the Faculty of Science of KU Leuven
- 6 Must be willing to act as an ambassador for the programme
- 7 Must meet English language requirements (minimum TOEFL score of 94 or IELTS score of 7)
- 8 Must be applying for an eligible master's programme (not QASS-programme of Master of Statistics)
