About This Scholarship
The SIIT Graduate Scholarship Program for Excellent Foreign Students (EFS) is a fully funded scholarship offering Master’s (2 years) and Ph.D. (3 years) degree programmes in engineering, computer science, information technology, and applied sciences at Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology in Thailand. The scholarship provides full tuition waivers, monthly living stipends, research support, and does not require IELTS/TOEFL for application, making it accessible to international students from around the world.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Full tuition fees and educational support fees
- Full thesis support
- Monthly living allowance (10,000 baht per month)
- Roundtrip economy class airfare (direct route to Thailand)
- Visa fees and airport taxes
- Allowance up to 10,000 baht
- Medical and accident insurance during scholarship period
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must not be a Thai citizen or hold Thai nationality
- 2 For Master's degree application: Bachelor's degree transcript with minimum GPA 2.75
- 3 For Doctoral degree application: Bachelor's degree transcript and Master's degree transcript with minimum GPA 3.50
- 4 Must provide two strong recommendations (at least one from an academic institute)
- 5 Must have good health and good behavior
- 6 English proficiency test optional (SIIT-EPT 65+, TOEFL IBT 32+, IELTS 4.5+, TU-GET 400+, TOEIC 600+, or equivalent)
