The Soochow University Jasmine Jiangsu Government Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship for international students pursuing master’s and doctoral degree programs at Soochow University in China. The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, living allowances, and comprehensive medical insurance.
What This Scholarship Covers

- Registration fee waived
- Free university dormitory accommodation
- Monthly stipend for master's students (3000 RMB/month)
- Monthly stipend for PhD students (3500 RMB/month)
- Comprehensive medical insurance (600 RMB/person/year)
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be a citizen of a country other than the People's Republic of China
- 2 Must be in good health both mentally and physically
- 3 For master's programs: must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent and be under 35 years of age
- 4 For doctoral programs: must hold a master's degree or equivalent and be under 40 years of age
- 5 Must be academically excellent
- 6 For Chinese-taught programs: must have passed HSK5 language test
- 7 For English-taught programs: must meet English proficiency requirements
- 8 Must meet both academic and other relevant admission requirements of Soochow University
- 9 Cannot receive other scholarships offered by the Chinese government, local governments, or other organizations simultaneously
