About This Scholarship

Merit-based scholarships for international students commencing their studies in 2026 at Swinburne University’s Hawthorn campus in Melbourne, Australia. The scholarships provide tuition fee reductions of 20% to 30% for the standard course duration across undergraduate, postgraduate coursework, and pathway courses.

What This Scholarship Covers

  • Swinburne International Scholarship: 20% tuition fee reduction for full standard course duration
  • George Swinburne International Excellence Scholarship: 30% tuition fee reduction for full standard course duration
  • ELICOS+ Scholarship: Up to 10 weeks of ELICOS tuition refunded (up to A$5,000) applied across first three semesters of principal course

Who Can Apply

  • 1 Must be an international student (citizens of Australia or New Zealand and permanent residents of Australia are not eligible)
  • 2 Must be commencing studies for the first time in 2026 at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus
  • 3 Must meet course or scholarship-specific entry requirements
  • 4 Must not be in receipt of another Swinburne tuition fee scholarship or reduced fee arrangement at the same time
  • 5 Not enrolled in excluded courses (Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Aviation and Piloting, Master of Physiotherapy, Master of Occupational Therapy, research master degrees, or doctorate degrees)
