About This Scholarship
The University of Toronto Mastercard Foundation Doctor of Public Health Scholarships support African public health leaders pursuing a fully funded Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degree at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. The program is the first DrPH offered by a Canadian university and focuses on accelerating the use of research evidence to inform public health practice and policy.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Be a citizen and currently residing in a Sub-Saharan African country
- 2 Have graduated from a partner institution of the Africa Health Collaborative and have not yet started graduate studies at the doctoral level
- 3 Demonstrate academic excellence and leadership qualities during undergraduate and master's years
- 4 Be academically admissible to the Doctor of Public Health program
- 5 Demonstrate a desire and commitment to return home for the last two years of the program to contribute to economic growth and social development in Africa
