About This Scholarship
The UfM Med Youth Lab 2026 is an introductory skills-building programme on entrepreneurship for young university students and recent graduates aged 18-29 with no or limited previous experience in the field. The programme combines online training from October to December 2026 with in-person workshops in Palermo, Italy from 14-16 December 2026, following a Training of Trainers approach to enable participants to share entrepreneurial concepts with their peers.

- Travel costs covered (for nationals of Albania, Algeria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Montenegro, Morocco, North Macedonia, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia, Türkiye)
- Accommodation covered (for nationals of specified countries)
- Visa-related expenses covered (for nationals of specified countries)
Who Can Apply
- 1 Be between 18 and 29 years old at the time of application
- 2 Be a national and resident of a UfM Member State
- 3 Be currently enrolled in a university programme or have graduated no more than one year before the application deadline
- 4 Hold a valid travel document such as a passport
- 5 Have at least B2 level English or equivalent ability to participate actively in discussions and group work
- 6 Have no significant previous knowledge, training or professional experience in entrepreneurship
- 7 Be fully available for both the online training and the in-person workshops in Palermo
- 8 Not have significant previous entrepreneurship training, experience running or funding a start-up, or experience working with business-support organisations
