About This Scholarship
The UNFPA Youth Leaders (YoLe) Fellowship Programme is a one-year initiative designed to empower young people to become ethically driven transformational leaders through professional and career development opportunities. Successful applicants will also complete academic requirements for a Masters Degree in Youth Leadership and Development from the University of Ghana and acquire UNV (United Nations Volunteer) status.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be aged between 18-30 years and resident in Ghana
- 2 Must hold qualifications from accredited tertiary institutions
- 3 Must be able to commit fully to the one-year Fellowship Programme on-site at UNFPA Ghana Country Office and University of Ghana Digital Youth Village
- 4 Must be proactive and possess strong interpersonal skills
- 5 Must be proficient in English (working knowledge)
- 6 Must be passionate about Leadership, Sustainable Development, Peace and Security, and Human Rights
- 7 Must demonstrate drive for change in sectors including social entrepreneurship, agribusiness, innovation, artificial intelligence, community development, and volunteerism
- 8 Must demonstrate interest in development issues and contribution to Ghana's 2030 Agenda
- 9 Must demonstrate affiliation with youth-led organization/network, NGOs/CSOs, community volunteerism, or be working on youth development projects with government agencies related to UN and UNFPA mandate
