About This Scholarship

Université de Montréal offers merit-based scholarships for international undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students, with funding amounts ranging from $6,548.40 to $22,908.60 per year depending on the program level and study area. The scholarship provides tuition fee exemptions or reductions for eligible international students enrolled in full-time study programs at the university.

What This Scholarship Covers

  • Undergraduate Level A: $13,740.60 per year or $6,870.30 per session or $458.02 per credit
  • Undergraduate Level B: $6,548.40 per year or $3,274.20 per session or $218.28 per credit
  • Masters Research: $15,150.00 per year or $5,050.00 per session or $336.66 per credit
  • Masters Non-Research: $10,788.75 per year or $3,596.25 per session or $239.75 per credit
  • PhD: $22,908.60 per year or $7,636.20 per session or $509.08 per credit
  • Partial or complete waiver of additional tuition fees for international students

Who Can Apply

  • 1 Must be a citizen or resident of any country worldwide
  • 2 Must hold a valid study permit
  • 3 Must not be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • 4 Must be enrolled full-time in a study program throughout studies
  • 5 Cannot benefit from another form of tuition fee exemption through another policy or measure
  • 6 English language proficiency required
