About This Scholarship
The University of Minnesota Fellowship is a fully funded master’s degree program offered through the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs for two years, covering all tuition, living expenses, travel, and health insurance. The program provides a multidisciplinary curriculum designed to develop skills and knowledge to address sustainable development challenges including poverty, population growth, food insecurity, and climate change.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a well-reputed academic institution in a related field of study
- 2 Satisfy the entry requirements for the Master's degree program
- 3 Demonstrate an excellent professional and academic track record
- 4 Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills (extracurricular activities, community work, or entrepreneurial initiative)
- 5 Demonstrate the inability to finance studies from own resources
- 6 English language proficiency required with minimum TOEFL score of 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based), or 100 (Internet-based with minimum 22 on each section), or IELTS score of 7.0
- 7 Valid Graduate Record Exam (GRE) score required (no specific score requirement)
- 8 Previous coursework in mathematics, statistics, and economics recommended
- 9 Must be from eligible countries (all countries)
