About This Scholarship

The University of Saskatchewan offers fully funded scholarships for exceptional international students pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs at one of Canada’s top-ranked research universities. The scholarship provides financial support through various entrance scholarships and renewable awards based on academic excellence, leadership, and community contributions.

What This Scholarship Covers

  • Full tuition covered
  • Monthly stipend (amount varies by program)
  • President George and Marsha Ivana's First and Best Scholarship: $40,000 ($10,000 per year for 4 years)
  • Chancellor Scholarships: $30,000 ($7,500 per year for 4 years)
  • U of S Admission Scholarships: $24,000 ($6,000 per year for 4 years)
  • Edwards Undergraduate Scholarships: $24,000 ($6,000 per year for 4 years)
  • Renewable Admission Scholarships to Faculty of Agriculture and Bioresources: $12,000 ($3,000 per year for 4 years)
  • Guaranteed funding package for PhD students: $20,000 per year for 4 years

Who Can Apply

  • 1 For Bachelor's degree: Must be a high school student outside of Canada
  • 2 For Master's degree: Must hold a four-year college degree or equivalent from a recognized college or university
  • 3 For PhD: Must hold a Master's degree or equivalent from a recognized university in an academic discipline relevant to the proposed field of study
  • 4 For postgraduate diploma: Must hold a four-year college degree or equivalent from a recognized college or university
  • 5 Must demonstrate English language proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, or Duolingo English Test)
  • 6 Must maintain full-time enrollment status
  • 7 Must be either continuing current program or newly admitted to a USask graduate degree program
