The Tasmanian International Scholarship reduces tuition fees by 25% for undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students, while research scholarships offer tax-free living allowances of AUD 34,315 per year plus relocation support.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Tax-free living allowance of AUD 34,315 per year (research scholarships)
- Annual indexation of stipend on January 1
- Relocation allowance of up to AUD 2,000
- Tuition-fee offset for competitively selected international applicants (research scholarships)
- 25% tuition fee reduction for full duration of eligible coursework (Tasmanian International Scholarship)
- Funding for up to 3.5 years for PhD
- Funding for up to 2 years for master's by research
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be an international student
- 2 Must be applying for an eligible undergraduate, postgraduate coursework, or higher degree by research programme
- 3 For research scholarships, must select a project from available research projects (unless another application route is specifically permitted)
- 4 Must demonstrate exceptional research potential (for Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship)
- 5 Coursework applicants are automatically considered for Tasmanian International Scholarship upon course application submission
