About This Scholarship
MacEwan University offers entrance scholarships to newly admitted international students based on previous academic achievement through the Chancellor’s Scholarship Series. Students who apply for admission by the scholarship deadline, meet eligibility criteria, and receive admission are automatically considered for awards ranging from Chancellor’s to Dean’s Scholarship tiers.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Entrance scholarship award (amount varies by tier: Chancellor's Scholarship for 95-100% admission average, President's Scholarship for 90-94.99%, Provost's Scholarship for 85-89.99%, Dean's Scholarship for 80-84.99%)
- Scholarship disbursed in two equal amounts across Fall and Winter terms for Fall entrance, or in Winter term for Winter entrance
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be an international student on a valid study permit
- 2 Must apply for admission by the scholarship deadline (March 1 for Fall intake or July 1 for Winter intake)
- 3 Must have an admission average or AGPA within one of the scholarship tiers (80% or higher)
- 4 Must be admitted to a degree program or diploma program
- 5 Must be enrolled in at least 12 credits by the add/drop deadline to maintain and receive scholarship funds
