Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be from an African country
- 2 Must hold an honours degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Mathematical Statistics; OR a four-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering; OR an NQF level 8 qualification equivalent to above in a field closely linked to ML and AI
- 3 Must have demonstrable proficiency in Python or equivalent programming language
- 4 Must be comfortable with numerical linear algebra, vector calculus, basic probability theory and statistics
- 5 Recommended to have completed an introductory course on machine learning
