About This Scholarship
The Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology offers dissertation writing-up fellowships for doctoral candidates in the final stage of their PhD to spend up to four months at the Institute in Halle (Saale), Germany, completing their dissertations. Fellows receive a monthly non-taxable living stipend and access to the Institute’s international scholarly community, research seminars, and specialized expertise in law and anthropology.
