About This Scholarship
CICOPS Scholarships support visiting scholars from developing countries for short-term research collaboration at the University of Pavia for 4 to 12 weeks. The scholarship promotes international cooperation and mobility of researchers from World Bank-classified low, lower-middle, and upper-middle income economies.
What This Scholarship Covers
- Full scholarship for 4-12 week stay at University of Pavia
Who Can Apply
- 1 Currently residing in a World Bank low-income, lower-middle income, or upper-middle income economy at the application deadline
- 2 Hold a PhD (or equivalent doctoral degree) and be currently employed by a university or higher education institution, and/or
- 3 Be currently employed (in teaching, lecturer, research, or technical staff position) for at least two years by a university, higher-education institution, public/non-profit research centre, or intergovernmental/international public institution (research/technical duties must be documented) based in an eligible country
- 4 Demonstrate recent research activity through at least 2 authored scientific publications or outputs in the field of proposed joint research
- 5 Not be enrolled in a Doctoral or Postgraduate Course at an Italian University
