About This Scholarship

The scholarship identifies and connects 10 committed young leaders working to build positive social spaces and tackle harmful drinking in their countries and communities. Scholars receive full funding to participate in the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town from 3-6 November, including accommodation, travel, and expert mentorship.

What This Scholarship Covers

  • Full participation in One Young World Summit 2026
  • Hotel accommodation in Cape Town (2-6 November 2026)
  • Round-trip economy airfare to and from Cape Town
  • Catering (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
  • Transport between accommodation and Summit venue
  • Access to Pernod Ricard professionals for mentorship and consultation
  • Opportunity to influence Pernod Ricard's initiatives through collective thinking sessions

Who Can Apply

  • 1 Must be a legal drinking age in their country of residence at the time of application
  • 2 Must be actively working on projects or initiatives related to promoting balance and moderation in drinking
  • 3 May be working in prevention and education initiatives to reduce excessive alcohol consumption
  • 4 May be involved in projects tackling harmful impacts of excessive alcohol consumption
  • 5 May be contributing to community-building, social inclusion, or isolation-reduction efforts
  • 6 May be conducting research on Gen Z habits, socializing trends, and alcohol's role in social situations
  • 7 Must be available to commit to post-Summit collective thinking sessions with other scholars
  • 8 Should share Pernod Ricard's ambition to encourage positive social occasions and responsible drinking
