These renewable scholarships provide sustained annual financial support throughout the undergraduate degree, significantly reducing the total cost of education at this top Canadian public university.
What This Scholarship Covers
- General Entrance Scholarships ranging from $750-$3,000 in year one (renewable annually)
- President's Entrance Scholarship: $10,000 per year renewable ($40,000 total over four years) for 12 recipients
- Terence Grier Entrance Scholarship: Full first-year tuition coverage for 1 recipient
- International Secondary School Merit Scholarship: $5,000 entrance award for 7 recipients
Who Can Apply
- 1 Must be Canadian citizen, permanent resident, protected person in Canada, or international student
- 2 Must be currently enrolled full-time in a Canadian secondary school
- 3 Must be completing a minimum of three Ontario Grade 12 U/M courses or equivalent Canadian provincial curriculum
- 4 For General Entrance Scholarships: Final admission average of 86% and above
- 5 For President's Entrance Scholarship: Demonstrate outstanding academic accomplishment, leadership qualities, original thought, and creative ability
- 6 For International Secondary School Merit Scholarship: Demonstrate academic excellence, commitment to volunteer work and extracurricular activities, and leadership skills
- 7 Must be entering a full-time, four-year undergraduate degree program
