About This Scholarship
The Feminist Leadership Accelerator for Change (FLAC) is a 12-month transformational fellowship programme designed to nurture young African women as feminist leaders committed to driving social change and challenging systemic inequality. Participants engage in immersive learning, peer dialogue, practical community projects, and professional development across modules spanning gender healing, African feminist theory, activism, SGBV awareness, and climate justice.

Who Can Apply
- 1 Minimum high school certificate, diploma, or undergraduate degree
- 2 Between 19 and 25 years of age at time of application
- 3 Self-identify as a woman
- 4 Demonstrate a track record of community leadership or activism with focus on women's rights (preferred)
- 5 Show genuine commitment to social justice and feminist principles
- 6 Reside in South Africa, Lesotho, Eswatini, Botswana, or Zimbabwe
- 7 Young women from rural areas and persons with disabilities especially encouraged
